Triumphant return to the circuit last night when we played the Ingram Arms in Hatfield, Doncaster........all the new numbers really went down well.....a big thank you to all that came to see us......see ya again when we return on October 6th.........off now to prepare for the next gig.....TTFN!!!!

Rehearsals going well with the new numbers.....the band are getting really excited now that we are getting close to gig time.......first off we play a charity gig on the 24th March in North Duffield near Selby (see gig guide for address).......kick off 730pm.......hope to see plenty of SHer's there

We are really sorry that we have been very quiet recently with the lack of news and cancelling of some gigs.......but due to us still looking for a new vocalist things have had to go on the backburner for a while just until the position is filled

Due to unforeseen circumstances our gig at the Yorkshire Hussar in York has had to be cancelled as new management have taken over the business.....we will hopefully get a rearranged date soon........so we shall be getting ready to rock the The Ferry Inn at Brough on Saturday the 8th of October.........hope to see plenty of SH fans there!!!!!

Auditions for the new vocalist have been going well.......hopefully we should have the new vox in place for the gig this coming Saturday at the Yorkshire Hussar in York city centre.......so watch this space!!!!!

Great night was had by all at Bar Axis last night.......you guys rock n rolled like there was no tomorrow!!....plenty of dancing on (pool) tables and singing.....just what we like.........thanx go to Rossi and all the Bar Axis staff......cheers guys and hope to see ya again soon!!!

Some sad news to start with i'm afraid.......after 2 plus years in the band Scurge has decided to hang up his microphone to concentrate on family matters therefore we are in the process now of finding a replacement......but don't worrying Scurge has offered to cover gigs until we have filled the post.....cheers buddy!!!......so the holidays are over and now is the time to get back into 'Gig Mode'........so first up will be Sept 9th Bar Axis, Hoyland, Barnsley on stage 21:30 so get 'Ready to Rock' Hoyland!! the SH tour bus is pulling into your town!!.......laters SH'ers

What a great day we had at the Woodfest charity concert at Highcliffe Farm near Keighley........as Scurge was unable to do the vocals due to ill health we were honoured to have the pleasure of having Matt Black from Invisible Idols, Serpentine, 6 Of The best, Foreigners Journey, among others, as a guest vocalist for the day......a very big thank you goes out to him for his time....it was a great experience playing with one of the best vocalists in the country......thanks to Brian Glover and Splash Alley for asking us to play the chartity gig......see ya next time guys!!!!!

We would like to extend a heartfelt apology to Colin and all the staff at the Georgefest unfortunately due to Scurge suffering from swollen glands the day before the fest we were unable to perform today.....hopefully all will be well for next weekend at the Woodfest gig on the 13th Aug......

The band would like to extend a mighty big apology to Russ, staff and audience at Georgies.....unfortunately due to Scurge suffering from cold/flu we had to pull out of the gig after 5 songs as his voice just would cope with the strain...so ...rather carrying on we decided to stop rather than spoil the gig for the audience.....on a good note tho we have arranged to come back and put on an even better show on the 16th Sept.....so we will see ya in a couple of months....next stop The Ingram Arms in Hatfield, Doncaster 23rd July .....see ya there!!!

Sorry we have been a little quiet over the last few weeks...no excuse for it really just haven't had time to keep up with things!!......so here goes with a catch up.......first up was the George Hotel in Brighouse......great place to play, really enjoyed it!!.......we then had the pleasure of Playing the Helmsley arts and Music Festival in Edstone North Yorkshire on Saturday 18th June......just fantastic....great appreciative crowd who didnt stop dancing or singing along......some great acts on too!!.....looking forward to playing again next year if they'll have us!!.....finally we played the Prince of Wales in Wombwell on Sunday 19th June.....again a great place to play and had the audience singing and dancing (on tables).......next up is the Shoulder of Mutton in Mirfield, Huddersfield on Saturday 25th June then at George's Bar in Driffield on Friday 1st July......we hope to see all our SH fans at those.....TTFN!!

Another hectic weekend of gigging......first up saw us rockin, away at the Sun Inn in Beverley opposite the Minster......beautiful town and great venue to play.....big thanks all round to the staff making us really welcome.......fantastic gig enjoyed by all that came too see us.....looking forward to playing there again later in the year.......Sunday we were down to headline the Keel Inn charity festival in Barnsley but due to matters beyond our control.....we were unable to take to the stage......real shame coz we were looking forward to rockin' the foundations of the Keel Inn.......never mind tho as we can entertain you all at the next Keel Inn fest in the summer.......ahh!!...3 weeks off now altho we wont be too idle as there will be plenty of rehearsing of new toons ready for our next outing which will be the Keighley festival in Saturday 21st May......so we hope to see ya all there!!!

Phew!!......just recovering from 2 gigs on the spin.....Friday was a cracking gig at the Duke William in Shelf........thanks to Mark, Stu and everyone there for their hospitality and making us all welcome.....hope to be rocking there again in the future......next was the charity fest at The Charisma in Hoyland on Saturday in aid of the Andrea's Gift charity......very well attended and wow!!! what a corker of a gig........hot and sweaty with plenty of dancing and crowd participation ...just as we like it!!!.......big thanks go to Rossi for adding us on the bill and Reckless (headliners) for the fantastic sound and lights and all the music fans that came along to see us and support the band.........guys you ROCK!!!.....loads of positive feedback from the punters and the bands saying we were the best band of the day..........getting ready now for this coming weekend which sees us at the Sun Inn in Beverley on Saturday and headlining the Keel Inn charity fest in Stairfoot Barnsley on Sunday.......so see ya there SH fans!!!!

Just recovering from a great night playing at The Ring O'bells in Queensbury Bradford....thanks to Les and staff for their hospitality.....next stop is the Abbey Road Venue in Batley on the 26th March so hope to see all the SH fans coming down to support the band.......other news is that Luke is getting a new FB page sorted so we shall be able to keep everybody in the loop of what's going on on the land of SH very soon......also we are working on doing something different and special in the coming months by way of An Evening Of....special gigs so we shall keep ya posted to as what and where as soon as we can.......for now SH'ers TTFN!!!

Fantastic gig last night at the Punch Clock in Leeds and it was Luke's debut too!!!....didnt seem as tho we had been away from the circuit for the 7 weeks we had......very appreciative crowd and Malc and all the staff were as hospitable as ever!!......looking forward to playing there again soon........heads down now to crack on with learning a few new tracks to include in the forthcoming gigs...roll on The Ingram Arms in Hatfield on 5th March........see ya soon Soundhousers!!!!

Well we have finally found what we have been looking for.......a new bassist...... in the shape of Luke, who is a fantastic musician!!!!.......it took a while I know so we apologise for the lack of SH activity and news.......Luke is working hard on the set list and is shaping up nicely......we are aiming to be back out on the circuit as of the 12th Feb at The Punch clock in Leeds......so not too long now before ya get another dose of the mighty SoundHouse!!!...see ya all soon

We hope everyone has enjoyed their time off over Christmas and New Year and are now raring go and work off all that turkey and mince pies by going out supporting your local bands doing rounds this coming year especially the mighty SoundHouse!!....On the news front we have said farewell to Russ (on bass) and we are now proactively looking to fill the vacant position within the band very very soon.....We are also working on a lot of new material to add to our ever popular set......please see our Set List page for further details.....So here's to a very busy 2011 on the circuit..see you at a gig near you reeeeeeaallll soon!!!! -SH-

Great evening was had by all at our last gig of the year at the Polish Club in Barnsley......even after a couple of power trip outs in the first set everything went great guns........really appreciative crowd who seemed to enjoy themselves so a big thank you to you all for making the gig a great success and thank you to Andy and everyone at the Polish Club for their hospitality, hope to play for you again real soon......Well it just remains for all of us in SoundHouse to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year -SH-

Well well well, hasnt 2010 gone very quickly??....we are fast approaching Christmas and the New Year......great gig at the New Inn in Charlestown, Bradford on Friday the 10th December...the band and everyone that came out to see us really enjoyed the evening.......we are now gearing up for our last gig of 2010 at the Polish Club in Barnsley on Saturday 18th December so we hope to see many of you out to enjoy a great evening of music and to spread a little Christmas spirit to proceedings. -SH-
